Little Ndaba creates toys with a mission. Groups of women from Zambia gather to knit and crochet gorgeous animals which provide a vital source of income for the crafters and  help raise awareness for at risk species conservation. The toys are made with 100% African cotton and stuffed with locally sourced acrylic by-product.   and provide a vital source of income for women who have limited opportunities to earn money.

Little Ndaba makes contributions back to species protection with each purchase and MisHMasH donates 10% of the purchase price from each knit elephant back to elephant conservation efforts in Zambia.  Please refer to the giving portion of our website for additional information

These gorgeous colourful patchwork elephants are a bit smaller than their snuggle cousins, but fit perfectly into small hands and tigh spots.

• Size: approximately 19cm long & 10cm wide
• Made from 100% cotton and stuffed locally sourced acrylic fluff
• Certified child safe
• Toys are best wiped clean, but can be washed in the washing machine ***please note, if machine washed, toys may require additional cuddles afterward
• Due to the handmade nature of the toys, while all toys will be similar, no two are the same, and each one has its own unique personality and characteristics.

• Made from premium quality food grade silicone. Our soother clips are non-toxic, and free from BPA, phthalate, cadmium, mercury, PVC and lead. They're FDA approved and CPSIA compliant. Our wood beads/clips are made from an all natural material that has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Our constructed clips have also passed all physical and mechanical testing for Canada- which means, the way we have strung, knotted, finished and assembled our products have been third party safety tested and 100% compliant for Canadian regulations.

• Washable and easy to clean with just baby safe soap and water. Rust free and dries quickly. Make sure not to soak any wood parts. Just wipe the wood parts with a damp cloth and let dry. 

• Care Instructions / Warning
• Do not clean with abrasive cleaning agents or antibacterial cleanser. 
• Do not put in dishwasher, microwave or soak in water.
• To prolong the life of the wood, it is recommended to seal the wood with an organic wood balm or food grade oil as needed. Just wipe on lightly and remove any access oil.
• Clip part is not meant to be chewed on.
• Do not use without full supervision and never let your child use while sleeping.
• Never alter the length or its constructed parts in anyway.
• Inspect before each use for signs of wear. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
