These are one of a kind!  The earring is made from the horn of the buffalo. In eastern cultures there is very little that is wasted when the meat of an animal is used for food.  For many years the horn was used for its black color, smooth texture and ease of carving.  The horn is carved and then the white bone of the buffalo is inlaid to create the contrast pattern.  These earrings are considered organic because the human body will tend not to have an adverse reaction to the sticks which inserted in the peircing.  The sticks are also made of horn.
